Candelabra Primulas

The Candelabra Primulas (Japanese Primrose) do very well in parts of the garden that are damp and where the soil is acid. They bring wonderful colour to an area that is predominately green (bamboos, tree ferns, skunk cabbage). In May and June the ‘Primula Path’ is like a candy store with all the pinks, whites and oranges of the primulas. What is so great about these plants is that they self-seed, giving us a healthy crop year after year and also some for our friends.
