The beautiful Rhododendron Sinogrande is the first rhododendron to flower in the garden and one of the first shrubs to bloom also. This wonderful shrub originally came from Derreen Gardens in Co. Kerry and has done very well in Knockpatrick Gardens.
This Rhododendron does well in acid soil and in a sheltered position. The flowers don’t like frost.
